Is it easy to buy food or daily items? Are things like 편의점 or 다이소 helpful for students? Also, is 배달 food common and safe for young girls living alone? Any small advice is welcome.
Hi, I am student from Uzbekistan, I studied here 2 years already. For daily life, 편의점 is everywhere, open 24 hours, you can buy simple food, snacks, water, even some ready-to-eat meals. 다이소 is very cheap to get things like dishes, cleaning, school supplies. About 배달, very normal here, most students use 배달앱 for food because cooking is not always easy in dorm. It’s safe, but good to check reviews and use card payment. Also, 교통카드 like T-money is important for bus and subway. For girls, campus area is generally safe but always good to be careful at night. If your daughter stay near university, there are many other students around so not much worry.
