Hello, this is Vijob. 👋
Today, we’d like to share some new on-site news from Vijob.
Vijob took part in the ‘2026 AISA Practitioner Competency Enhancement Conference and Study Abroad Fair (2026 AISA 실무자 역량 강화 컨퍼런스 및 유학박람회)’ held at Pai Chai University (배재대학교) in Daejeon from August 13 to 14.
This event was hosted and organized by Hanguk Daehak Yuhaksaeng Silmuja Hyeobuihoe (한국대학유학생실무자협의회), and brought together about 200 practitioners from international offices, Korean language education centers, and international student-related organizations and groups from universities across the country.
It was a meaningful opportunity to share a wide range of information and solutions needed on the ground, from recruiting international students to life in Korea, employment, and settlement.
2026 AISA Conference (2026 AISA 컨퍼런스), what kind of event was it?
This conference was held with the goal of enhancing the expertise of university practitioners who work with international students and helping universities, related organizations, and companies build new cooperative relationships.
In particular, the event provided a space for:
✔ Strengthening the practical capabilities of those in charge of international exchange and foreign students at universities nationwide
✔ Building a cooperative network between university- and international student-related organizations and companies offering professional services
✔ A place for exchange where university staff and companies meet directly to introduce services and discuss possibilities for collaboration
.
Going beyond a simple study abroad fair, it was a place to think about what kind of support international students coming to Korea need and how universities and companies can work together.
💙 Vijob, now even closer to universities and organizations
Vijob also met directly and spoke with university practitioners nationwide as well as various international student-related organizations and company representatives at this event.
In addition to the foreign-user network and employment and settlement services that Vijob has built, we introduced how we can support the entire journey, from international students’ study abroad in Korea to employment after graduation.
By exchanging views with representatives from various universities and companies on site, we were also able to confirm new possibilities for collaboration.
Going forward, Vijob will not stop at simply connecting foreign job seekers and companies, but will further expand the connection structure that leads from university → international student → company → settlement in Korea.
🎁 Vijob Lucky Draw added more excitement to the event
To communicate a little more closely with participants, we also held the Vijob Lucky Draw event. 🎉
We prepared an iPad mini and AirPods as prizes, drawing attention and participation on site, and through the lucky draw we were able to naturally talk with university practitioners who were experiencing Vijob for the first time.
Thank you once again to everyone who visited the Vijob booth and showed interest. 🙌
🎓 Now VijobxUniVijob supports you from ‘study abroad’ to employment
Vijob has grown so far by focusing on job, visa, housing, Korean language, community, and daily-life services for foreigners living in Korea.
Now, Univijob’s Korea study abroad services are being added to that.
A foreign student’s life in Korea does not begin only when employment starts.
Looking into Korea → choosing a university → preparing for admission → coming to Korea to study → living here → finding a job → getting employed → settling down — all of these steps form one journey.
VijobxUniVijob’s university network will continue to expand further
This AISA Conference was also an important meeting point for Vijob.
By meeting directly with international exchange staff from universities across the country, we were able to hear about the real difficulties foreign students face on the ground and confirm a range of collaboration possibilities that universities and platforms can work on together.
Going forward, Vijob will
✔ Expand partnerships with universities and institutions
✔ Strengthen employment and living support for foreign students
✔ Expand links to Korea universities through Univijob
✔ Operate job fairs, company visits, and community programs for universities
✔ Expand services that connect foreign students’ study abroad → employment → settlement journey
through these efforts, we will grow into a platform that provides practical help to both universities and foreign students.
In closing
For foreigners, Korea is not simply a place to come to study or to work.
For some, it is the beginning of a new university life,
for some, the start of a first career,
and for others, a new place to build a life.
Vijob wants to connect all of those moments into one.
From studying in Korea to employment, daily life, and stable settlement.
Going forward, together with more universities, companies, and institutions, we will create an environment where foreigners can realize their potential in Korea.
FROM FINDING YOUR CAREER TO MAKING YOUR HOME,
FROM LEARNING NEW CULTURES TO BUILDING NEW CONNECTIONS,
FOREEDOM STANDS BESIDE YOU.
Make It Happen In Korea. 💙
