Shared experiences of student life in Korea and new connections among 11 international students
Hello, this is Vijob.
When living as a student in Korea, there are many times when you have to handle everything on your own, from finding part-time job information to making new friends and adjusting to unfamiliar cultures.
What if you could share these concerns together and help each other out?
A total of 11 international students from Vietnam, Nepal, and India joined Vijob Global Supporters 2nd Cohort (Vijob Global Supporters 2기), creating opportunities to share their experiences with one another and connect with new people.
Participants shared information about life in Korea on Vijob Community and created a variety of content through team activities.
1. Information on life in Korea shared directly by students
Vijob Global Supporters is a participatory program in which international students create content based on their own experiences and information and share it with other international students.
In this 2nd cohort, a variety of stories were introduced, including Korean language learning, volunteer work, programs for international students, and food and cultural experiences.
In particular, you can take a look at actual posts from the group 'Bingsu🍧 (빙수🍧)', where the Best Team, the Bingsu team, was active.
Volunteer work: Experience participating in the Namhae GKL Jiyeok Sangseng Voluntour
Student life: Stories of cooking and living independently in Korea

2. Experience of international students who met for the first time and worked together
In this activity, international students from different backgrounds formed teams and created content together.
Vu Thi Huyen Trang (부티후엔짱), selected as an Outstanding Supporters member for the 2nd cohort, shared the following in an interview.
At first, we were people who didn’t know each other, but friends with the same thoughts and goals came together to create a group that could help other international students.
