I'm particularly weak in writing and reading, and I'd like to know what study methods are effective. I also struggled at first with writing and reading. After joining the language school at Sejong University, I found that the most effective method was to diligently solve past exam questions and memorize patterns. For writing, I practiced by imitating model answers and starting with short sentences, and had my language school teachers correct my work (if that's difficult, I think using an online correction service is also an option). For reading, vocabulary is important, so I memorized a little bit of frequently appearing TOPIK vocabulary every day. I also frequently watch TOPIK preparation videos on YouTube. Past exam questions and vocabulary books are available online in Japan as well, so it might be a good idea to start there.
