ChungCheong University is a private junior college with over 40 years of tradition, located in Wolgok-ri, Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, the heart of the Republic of Korea. True to its slogan, “Education that Cares for People, a University Opening the Future,” ChungCheong University has grown alongside the local community by practicing sincerity, cooperation, and creativity. Blending a pristine natural environment with advanced infrastructure, the university has established itself as a leading junior college in the central region, renowned for its strength in practical, hands-on education and close cooperation with local industries. The university’s greatest distinguishing feature is its education system optimized for fieldwork and its industry-academia cooperation network. The spacious campus, comprised of 17 buildings, houses state-of-the-art practice rooms and specialized departments, where over 3,000 students develop expertise in diverse fields such as aviation, healthcare, IT, design, health sciences, automotive, and sports. In particular, the aviation and healthcare departments boast high employment rates, thanks to the latest equipment and abundant field training opportunities. Upon admission, a 50% scholarship is provided, and students maintaining a GPA of 2.5/4.5 or higher receive a 30% scholarship thereafter. Additional scholarships are available for those who obtain TOPIK Level 3 or higher. In addition to Korean language courses, separate English-language programs are offered to help students from English-speaking countries adapt easily. A wide range of majors, practice-oriented curricula, global competency enhancement programs, a dedicated international student support office, cultural experiences, and language exchange programs all provide systematic, tailored support for international students.
