Gyeongkuk National University (GKNU) is a leading national comprehensive university in South Korea, with campuses located in the cities of Andong and Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Established in 1947 as Andong Normal School, the university was newly launched in 2025 through the integration of Andong National University and Gyeongbuk Provincial University. Under its founding philosophy of “Truth, Sincerity, and Creativity,” GKNU is emerging as a glocal (Global + Local) hub of innovation, connecting the region with the world.
