Kyungnam University is a private comprehensive university with a 78-year tradition, located in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, the gateway to the southern coast of Korea. Founded in 1946 by independence activist Shin Ik-hee under the founding philosophy of “Practical Action,” the university has grown alongside the major currents of modern Korean history.
