Bucheon University is a private junior college with a 67-year tradition, located in the heart of Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province. Under the slogan “A university that creates the value of people and work,” it specializes in practical education and field-oriented talent development. Originating from Sosa Technical School, founded in 1958 by independence activist Han Hang-gil, it has grown to become the first and leading institution of higher education in the Bucheon area. The university operates the main Bucheon Campus, Sosa Campus, and an overseas campus in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (Bucheon University in Tashkent), boasting a domestic and international network and global capabilities.
