The School of Liberal Engineering allows students to enter university without declaring a specific major, giving them the opportunity to choose an engineering field that suits their aptitude. In the first year, students take general education courses in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, arts, and physical education, as well as basic major courses in engineering. As they progress to higher years, students take major courses based on their interests and aptitudes, and finalize their major in the third or fourth year through a 'division system.'
