A society where everything is connected through IT technology and internet networks is called a hyper-connected society. The Department of IT Convergence broadly covers fundamental engineering technologies closely related to IT, such as machinery, electrical and electronic engineering, metals, ceramics, chemistry, architecture, civil engineering, semiconductors, and programming. The educational goal of the department is to nurture talents equipped with basic IT knowledge and the ability to integrate it with various fields of engineering.
